My name is Brooke, as you know, and I am a Southern Stay-At-Home Mom trying to become a coupon-clipping, money saving housewife. I live in the sticks with my husband, daughter, and a baby on the way. I love to write, participating in NaNoWriMo four years in a row, I love to read, find the best deals at nearby stores, and I absolutely love my family.

Music wise I love indie, folk, alternative, classic, and modern rock, blues, and some pop. Some of my favorite bands are: The Dead Weather, The Flaming Lips, Angus & Julia Stone, The White Stripes, The Black Keys, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle (or rather, anything Maynard James Keenan does), and many more. I'm a huge movie buff and there are too many to name here, but my all-time favorites will always be Love Actually, Twister, and Moulin Rouge (so many memories!). Current TV shows I love: Bones, Weeds, True Blood, Californication, Camelot, and so many more I can't remember right now.

So this is my daughter Lillian, but we call her Lily for short (or Lulu, Kidlet, Lily Beth, etc. She comes to just about anything). Right now she's three-years-old and the absolute joy of my life. I don't know what I would do without this little girl! Lillian was one of those "accidental kids" -- thankfully, I was just about to be out of college when she was conceived so really she only just came a little earlier than expected. Truthfully? She came at the exact time she was needed the most. Lillian is definitely a camera ham, and a daddy's girl. I can't imagine my life being any different since all I truly wanted was to be a stay-at-home mom and raise a couple of kids. Of course, now that we have another one on the way I'm questioning myself on that decision! ;)

And here is my darling husband, Trey. It's short for Charles. I've been with Trey since I was nearly seventeen, and he's been all I ever needed or ever will need in my life. I often get to watch girls fawn over him because he apparently looks a lot like Johnny Depp to them, but he definitely isn't as quiet or humble like Mr. Depp! Trey has a sense of humor that not a lot of people can appreciate, and while he can get on my nerves sometimes I tend to love his wit and humor. There is no one in the world I'd rather spend my life with than him. <3
